Please tell us about your current job.

As a main person in charge of facility installation works, I manage each property, and coordinate and control duties within my group.
The job of quantity surveying requires accuracy. Each building differs from one another, and therefore, estimation conditions vary from property to property. Since what are required at the time of delivery are different for each property, we hold meetings with clients in order to clarify the clients’ demand, the conditions specific to a relevant property, and the work content, and share these pieces of information with the group members. Frequently asked for explanation, I respond to each request with my knowledge and experience in quantity surveying I have cultivated.

Please tell us about what brought you to SANTEC M&E Q.S. CORPORATION.

Although I studied in an architecture-related department at a university, I did not pay attention at all to quantity surveying until the professor of the laboratory to which I belonged told me, while I was doing job hunting, that there was a job of quantity surveying and introduced SANTEC to me. I think that my little awareness of quantity surveying is because I strongly considered construction to be craftsmanship. Afterward, however, I talked several times with the management and the employees, through which I recognized that quantity surveying requires steady down-to-earth efforts. I decided to join SANTEC because I was certain that the job was well suited to my personality.

Please tell us about rewarding experiences in your current job.

In our company, employees prepare quantity surveying documents, which requires steady desk work, in a group or team. The range of duties with which one is entrusted will widen and the level of difficulty will increase as the worker becomes able to carry out more and more tasks, which will allow the worker to feel his or her own growth and rewarding experience. When I check online the construction process of the building I have been involved with or actually see the facility through an on-site meeting, inspection, and guided visit, I get a real sense that I conducted quantity surveying for the building. At the same time, passion and motivation for the next project begin to fill me up. In particular, the sense of accomplishment in a large property project through cooperation is extraordinary.

Please tell us about rewarding experiences in your current job.

Please tell us about your future goals.

As we are involved in a numerous number of construction projects, what is important is to control processes of multiple projects running simultaneously. Thus, I would like to strive to arrange an environment and atmosphere in which every employee can engage in their duties as a group, while learning required management techniques and skills one by one.
Furthermore, as the future of our company is supported through continuous provision of the value that satisfies clients, I would like to create new services with value added by applying our sophisticated quantity surveying techniques and know-how.
